Car rental companies offer a wide variety of alternatives to secure a rental car. There are insurances that are necessary to take and others that are optional, the hiring of which or not depends on the use that we are going to give to the vehicle. Have:
• CDW or LDW
Collision Damage Waiver or Loss Damage Waiver insurance covers damage due to collisions, theft or accidents that we may have during the duration of the vehicle rental. These insurances are offered with and without a deductible for a certain amount and after that amount, the difference is the responsibility of the insured.
• LI, EP AND SLI insurance
SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance): is a civil liability insurance that covers, up to one million dollars, damages caused to third parties, whether damage to another vehicle or injuries to those inside it. The amount of coverage may vary in some States.
EP (Extended Protection), SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance) and LI (Liability Insurance) are third-party damage insurance that extends coverage above one million dollars.
• PAI Insurance
PAI (Personal Accident Insurance): is an insurance that offers coverage for the driver and passengers in the event of an accident that causes injury or even death, during the rental period.
